Open-Air Services End Nine-Week Run At Forest Park
St John’s Lutheran Church finishes an eight week series of open-air services at Forest Park Park site near Harriton and Besplaines avenues. Pastor Alvin Wagner will speak on Prepare To Meet Thy God next Wednesday evening. Weekly attendance exceeded one thousand as community members are urged to join future gatherings. Next Sunday three services are scheduled English 9 p m German 10 30 p m and English 7 30 p m with Lord’s Supper observed in both English services after a preparatory 20 minute period.
