Edith Kunz Heilemann Dies After Long Career at Forest Park Review
Edith Kunz Heilemann, longtime editor and co publisher of the Forest Park Review, died after a long illness. Born January 29 1887 in Harlem later Forest Park she helped found the paper in 1917 with Henry R Heilemann and Albert J Hall and served as editor until 1930. She later led the National Youth Administration local unit and pursued writing and travel. Survived by two daughters Myrtle Wiley and June Zepernick four grandchildren one great grandchild and three sisters. Funeral services were held at Dreschsters with interment at Woodlawn.

Rosa Cortina Funeral Held for Forest Park Mother of Police Chief
Mrs Rosa Cortina died Friday at Oak Park Hospital at 76 living at 148 Lathrop Forest Park resident 52 years. Mass offered Monday at St Luke River Forest for her with husband Frank preceding her death. Survived by sons Joe James daughters Mrs Sarah De Prima and the late Frieda Chiaramonte three grandchildren four great grandchildren. In state at Zimmermann Son entombment at Queen of Heaven following funeral.

A daytime raid at Unger’s Drugstore involved a 35 year old male thief who bound Joe Unger for 20 minutes after stealing narcotics cash and the store watch. The assailant fled through the rear door leaving Unger tied and a customer Edward Walsh discovering the scene.

Mulholland to Be Ordained Sunday in First United Church
Kenneth Mulholland of 946 Circle, after three years training at Lancaster Theological Seminary, will be ordained Pentecost Sunday June 10 at 8 p.m. in First United Church of Christ, 1000 Elgin. He has been called to Bethel United Church of Christ in the Fredricksburg area, with Rev. Laslo L Hunyady and Rev. Carl W. Berger among the ordination committee.
