Mr. and Mrs. Earl Flight Jr of 1114 Beloit are parents of a baby boy born July 1 at Oak Park Hospital. Timothy Robert weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces at birth. The child has two brothers.
Mrs Carolyn Roscich earns a Bachelor in Mathematics from Eastern Mlinots University and teaches Junior High Mathematics at Forest Park Public Schools after student teaching in Robinson MI. Boyd Partridge, with a degree from Northern Illinois University in elementary education, will teach 6th grade at Grant White School after student teaching in Grove Avenue Barrington. Mrs Margare t Lamnieks, with a 1963 degree from University of Dunois and a 1965 Master from University of U Hoots, becomes Field Stevenson 5th grade teacher.
Delegates from American Legion Auxiliary units across Illinois converge July 28 at the Conrad Hilton Chicago for the 46th State Convention. State President Mrs. Fred Willett of Chicago will preside. Forest Park unit secretary Mrs. William A. Schlupp represents the unit. National President Mrs. Walter Glynn of Des Moines will address on July 30. Rehabilitation Service Forum at 7 p.m. will honor hundreds of Auxiliary Volunteer Hospital Workers. Sessions feature installation of 1966 1967 state officers, including unopposed State President-elect Mrs. Louis Unser. Forest Park Unit earns praise for Book of Prayers by chaplain Mrs. Henry Husserl and for donations to USC Club at 30 N LaSalle. Unit members praised for contributions of cakes and goods totaling about $500, aiding Girl Scout troops and USO Club. Memorial Hall event organizers include Mrs. Lucille Block and Unit meeting July 19 and July 1? memorial services for 37 deceased members conducted by Unit Chaplain Mrs. Huss erl.
