Rev Wulff to be Installed as St Paul Pastor Sunday
The Rev Arnold Wulff will be installed as pastor of St Pauls Lutheran Church in a 10 am Sunday service. Retiring pastor W A Burzlaff will deliver the sermon and oversee the installation ceremonies. Wulff, born in Augusta Kentucky, raised in Saskatchewan and Alberta, studied at Capital Theological Seminary, and previously served in Evansville Indiana and Dorchester Illinois. He and wife Ruth have three children Jonathan Paul Mary Ann Donna Marie. they move from Dorchester to Forest Park. The prior installation at St Paul occurred in November 1828.

Ten year old Don sends balloon into space and replies
Ten year old Don Demetry of 611 Circle sent a name and address balloon into the sky during Forest Park's Sidewalk Sale on June 5. He later received a note from Niles Michigan dated June 24 saying the balloon landed in a farmer’s hay field and the farmer wrote back to Don.

Kenneth Scott Keyes aged one, grandson of Mr and Mrs Harry E Keyes of 1247 Elgin, had a pin removed from his throat. After months of throat trouble and visits to doctors, a throat specialist in Oak Park found the pin. He underwent delicate surgery at Children's Memorial Hospital and is recovering.
