Mrs. Desens Killed In Auto Accident
Helen Desens widow of Dr. Henry H. Desens died in an auto mobile crash on the Illinois toll road west of Elgin Saturday. Her son Henry the driver was critically injured with two broken legs. Survived by three other children Lorraine Fastert Jack and James. Grandmother of Mark and Michael Fastert. Services held at Zimmermans Chapel with Concordia interment.

They aided in the rescue of a father and his six children, with two children initially missing. A draggin crew recovered a three year old body the following morning.
