The Forest Park fire department reported 21 alarms during June in a monthly village council briefing by Fire Chief Henry Lange. Incidents included one grain elevator fire, one residence fire, two grass fires, removal of tree branches, one auto wreck injury removal, one false alarm, seven halator calls, and three miscellaneous calls. Inspections found the German Old People’s Home alarm system in good order with 25 general inspections conducted.
