New Telephone Prefix System in Forest Park Area
As last week’s Review noted, Morent Park subscribers will use exchange prefixes before numbers due to new switchboards. Forest Park Qu Park and Ativer Forest now share separate boards, with Oak Park prefix calls becoming Forest Park or River Forest as needed. The change aims to reduce confusion, speed service, and accommodate future growth as the region nears 20 000 subscribers. The new directory circulates this week.
