Bronze Star Awarded to L/Corp John Bruhn in Vietnam Action
L/Corp John Bruhn of Forest Park was presented the Bronze Star by Col. Frye at the Navy Comm Station in Honolulu Wahiawa. The 4 Rifleman with Co B 1st Battalion 7th Marines earned three Purple Hearts and received the Bronze Star for heroic achievement during operations in the Republic of Vietnam. He calmly seized a casualty weapon and provided suppressive fire against enemy emplacements.
