Louis Schloderbach of Bellwood joins as assessor candidate, with Don Provenzano as township collector and John O'Brien road commissioner. Edward Lane Local Attorney Dies at 56 in Forest Park
Edward Basil Lane 56 a prominent Forest Park attorney died January 5 after a heart attack at Oak Park Hospital. Born January 9 1912 in Chicago he moved to Forest Park and attended St Bernardine School Proviso High Wheaton College Northwestern Dental DePaul Business John Marshall Law School. He married Evelyn Koepfle May 1 1943 and leaves five children plus several survivors. Funeral services were held at Zimmermans Chapel then St Bernardines Catholic Church with interment Mt Carmel Cemetery.
