Jerry Feldmen owner of Forest Park Liquors Madison and Burkhardt celebrates after his son Jeff 17 survives three hours in rough water when a Florida coast boat sinks. Jeff a Niles High School student and Sea Scout is rescued by an American Oil Tanker. He notes his father buys gas from Standard Service and says he really got it.

Teens of Forest Park join the national March of Dimes campaign on Saturday with a blue crutch tag day. Volunteers greet donors on street corners and at stores to collect funds for birth defect research and treatment facilities, highlighting that one in sixteen newborns are affected.
