Forest Park Unit 414 notes February meeting
Forest Park Unit 414 held a combined business and social gathering February 19 with President Mrs. Lucille Black. Activities included a suitcase drive for the Andy Juvenile Home, a cleaning bill for six dresses, a Gold Star Mother card to Mrs. Rose Hensel, coupon drives for the Downey Veterans hospital nursery, and donations of kitchenware. Two new members were introduced as Ruth Ritter plans hospital outreach on February 27. Sympathy extended to the Osborne family after Lt. Donald Osborne’s death. Next meeting is March 5.
