Obituary of Mer Ibumubets Hellemann in Oak Park
Mer Ibumubets Hellemann wife of Roy A Iestiellumano died after a brief illness in Chicago on February 7 1018 at 1413 Cottage Grove Jayenne Waabington Park. She was born January 24 1849 in Kreutsnach and converted to Methodism in London England at eighteen. She married Thuy A Hellemann and had thirteen children born in London Haig and later in Casterteg. The family moved to New York January 1890 and settled in Oak Park where Mr Kraft helped found the Ahwant Mission. The Hellemanns served numerous churches including German Methodist in Bandwieh Crown Point Deaville Oak Park Wentworth Avenue and finished at the Wentworth Avenue church. Mrs Hellemann suffered a stroke in 1902 and recovered poorly before returning to Chicago to care for her husband. Funeral arrangements were to be announced with services led by German M E pastors at Forest Home chapel and at the home.

Village council backs fire department fundraising drive
