Members of Forest Park Post and its Auxiliary organize a Spaghetti Dinner at Memorial Hall on Sunday February 18. Joe Sansone serves as kitchen superintendent as Commander Gustafson notes plans proceed on schedule.
The West Chapter of the German American National Congress hosts a Masquerade Dance on Saturday February 17 at 8 p.m. at Palace Hall Cermak and Central Cicero with music food and refreshments. Prizes will be awarded for best men women and group costumes. Tickets available from Directorate members or at 217 Elgin.
Grace Scheel of 7641 Adams retires February 6 after 43 years in the electric utility industry. A Commonwealth Edison customer representative at Maywood, she earlier worked in accounting and stores activities. Lifetime Forest Park resident and church member, she enjoyed gardening and travel.
