Scouts to Hold Convention at Field-Stevenson Forest Park
Boy Scouts plan a Monday meeting February 11 in the Field-Stevenson cafeteria to nominate candidates for village offices. Twenty eight officers will be elected for Scouts Run the Village day March 12 when the group takes over village operations. Mayor Meyer, village commissioners and the police chief are invited. Scouts Week runs February 6 to 12. Local troops include 102 105 108 109 and 100 with sponsors St Bernadine St. Peter Evangelical and Moose. Harold Whelpley is village chairman.
