Park District Again Seeks Lower Water Rate
Forest Park Park District asks the village to cut the water rate from 17 1/3 cents to six cents per 100 cubic feet by tapping a branch main into the Chicago Forest Park system. Council members question feasibility and the board may seek to buy water if no deal is reached. The issue hinges on securing funds for a full budget and reducing village costs.
