Merritt in Critical Condition After Thruway Accident
Forest Park Sgt. Halie Merritt remains in critical condition at a Buffalo hospital after a Sunday collision on the New York State Thruway with a snow plow in blizzard conditions. Merritt, returning from a visit with his parents in Upstate New York, is hospitalized as his wife Frances, a local police radio operator, and colleagues Base Gary Doss and Lt. Robert Conklin, visited him.
