Forest Park will establish its first in district special education class by late January after a November board vote. Renovation of Field-Stevenson annex is due, saving on tuition and transport costs and keeping students with neighborhood peers.

Little League Aux Christmas Party Announced
Forest Park Little League Women’s Auxiliary schedules a December 4 meeting at 7 30 in the Park Building to host a Christmas party. Members should bring a $2 grab bag gift and those not contacted contribute $1 for the buffet. 100th Birthday for Bertha Lietz at Altenheim
Bertha Lietz celebrated her 100th birthday on Thanksgiving Day with 10 candles representing each decade. The event at her Cook County elderly home included a noon cake celebration attended by fellow residents. Lietz, born in Germany and resident for over 60 years, has lived at Altenheim since 1961 and received congratulations from President Nixon, Gov. Ogilvie, Sen. Ralph Smith, and Mayor Daley.
