Arresting of Motorists and Mosquitoes at Speedway Hospital

Obituary Henry Strunk of Forest Park

Henry Strunk a longtime Forest Park resident died at his home on August 28 after a prolonged illness. Born in Holstein Germany in 1860 he immigrated to America in 1875 and worked as a carpenter and millwork foreman before an accident redirected him toward various trades and public service. He served three terms as village trustee and was predeceased by his first wife and several children. he is survived by two daughters and two sons. Funeral services were held at St Peter’s Lutheran with Masons and veterans groups attending. interment at Forest Home.
