Mr. Prueser Dies After Long Illness at 83
Ferdinand Prueser aged 83 died after a long illness on July 30. He lived 45 years at 103js Elgin. Masonic services are set for 2:30 p.m. today at Zimmermans with interment at Mount Emblem. Survived by three sons Ferdinand Willam Elmer. two daughters Lilian Strand Myrtle Jerik. a sister Bertha Steinmeyer. eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Double Surgery for Murphy Anniversary
Henrietta and John Murphy of 909 Beloit celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with surgery in Chicago. John entered Loretto Hospital for nine days then helped Henrietta who underwent major surgery. Henrietta thanks friends and neighbors for cards and flowers sent to both during the medical stay.

Summer Music Students in Concert at Forest Park
An eight week instrumental program run by Forest Park Public Schools under director Ronald W. Miethe ends with an outdoor concert at 7 30 p m on Wednesday August 15. Seventy five students from third through eighth grades attend with weekly group lessons plus full band rehearsals. Twenty five fifth graders will make their first public appearance after fourteen weeks of instruction. In case of bad weather the concert moves to Thursday August 16.

Next Chamber Golf Outing at Midwest
The Chamber of Commerce golf committee set the date and venue for next year. The event is scheduled for Wednesday July 10 1963 at the Midwest Country Club. The chamber also announced a fall sidewalk sale on September 14. The Aunt Jemima crown will appear for the sale in conjunction with the Lions Club Pancake Day on September 15.

Butcher Art Reis Known Nationally for Sausages and Ribs
Arthur Reis a Purest Park butcher born in Heidelberg died Monday night at Oak Park Hospital at age 64. He built a shop at 7520 Randolph and mailed ribs and specialties across the United States while visiting Chicago Stock Yards to select meat. Survived by his wife Senta a brother and three sisters. Funeral mass at St Luke Church River Forest at 10 am. Interment Queen of Heaven.
