No More Free Service Declared by Forest Park Mayor Witt
Forest Park Village Council met Monday night amid a heated exchange between Comm. Lambke and Henry Mohr over village addressing of candidate envelopes for the Proviso High Pakant Dane race. Mayor Witt ordered that village employees and equipment not be used for private political work. Comm. Rizzo noted 15 trees planted with donations totaling $325 from local groups and businesses.

Forest Park Chamber Dinner Celebrates 30th Banquet
Forest Park Chamber of Commerce hosted about 500 attendees at Mungam's Chateau for the 30th annual dinner. The program featured a meal, refreshments, a floor show, and special awards to Herman Meyer of the Forest Park Kiwanis Club Cliff Clemens of the Forest Lions and Al Jordan president of the chamber. Prizes were given to nearly all guests.
