Forest Park Public Schools Spring Concert Set for April 23
The annual Forest Park Spring Concert will be held Sunday April 23 at 2 30 pm in Curtis Auditorium Field-Stevenson School. Fifth and sixth grade vocal and instrumental students from all schools will perform under Loretta Gucelig and Ronald W Miethe. Awards will honor outstanding players in each group.

Burglary at Stange Apartment Netted Silver Dollars
Burglars stole about $170 in silver dollars jewelry and cash from the Stange residence at 7213 13th Street. Entry was gained by prying the door lock. A neighbor heard noises but assumed the owner had returned. Next apartment also ransacked. list of missing articles pending tenant’s return.

Two school board members were unseated as 1800 voters elected Lawrence Buckley Sal Calcagno and C Walter Wolf to the board. Incumbents Raymond Rohn and Robert Goldstein and Robert Stockman lost. Buckley led with 1022 votes, Calcagno 97, Wolf 876, Stockman 840, with precinct splits noted. Campaign issues were minor with personalities shaping the result. All candidates agreed to consolidate differences and focus on school welfare.
