Ruth Williams presents a hoemaking program at the Park Building tonight for the Little League Auxiliary meeting. The event starts at the stated time with 35 to 40 prize products and numerous samples and recipes for attendees. Admission is free.
The Forest Park Women Club schedules its last meeting at Mrs. Harry Blue's home on Tees day at 1 pm. The club plans its Spring Luncheon on Tuesday April 18 at Lake Lawn Delavan with reservations via Mrs. Robert Bill FO 62924.

Thatcher Woods Council hosts the 8 Round Table conference at St Bernardine's Hall with St Bernardine Boy Scout Troop 102 and Cub Scout Pack 102. Tuesday event begins 7:45 pm. refreshments will be served.
Forest Park reports Heart Sunday collection totaling 1440 dollars to date. Heart Fund chairman Elmer H. Lussow notes final figures will take months to finalize and says return envelopes left at doors are still being received at Heart headquarters.
The Better Government slate won the township race by 2 to 1 amid strong opposition from Suburban Justice led by State Rep. William Walsh. Top vote getter George Jaap had 12,600 votes, while Rey Mohr was re elected township assessor with 13,000 votes and Fred Rose kept township clerk with over 13,000 votes. Several Forest Park candidates trailed with figures like Leonard Karlin 2,225 and Shelly DeCosta 5,036.
The chairman urged all who have not yet contributed to send a donation to the Chicago Heart Association. Lussow thanked supporters and volunteers who canvassed the area for funds, especially Raymond Ratajak of Forest Park National Bank, who served as treasurer. The association relies entirely on voluntary contributions.
American Legion Post 414 invites past commanders and friends to Memorial Hall for an evening of entertainment starting at 6 p.m. Don Escobedo and his Orchestra provide cocktail hour music, Ray Block hosts and introduces guests, seven man ensemble performs at 8 30 p.m. Andy Anderson and His Orchestra play from 9 p.m. to 12 30 a.m. Roast prime rib dinner at 7 15 p.m. Corsages for attending ladies. Reservations available at 3.00 per plate by calling Howard Reese or the Post.
Joseph Manone won the Park Board race with 771 votes on Tuesday, edging John Hanley who received 672 ballots. The contest determined the new board member for the local park authority.
