Residence Burns Near Mt. Creek Destroys Farmer’s Home
A house on the Adin Rucker place near Mt. Creek burned Monday afternoon while the Epley family worked in the field. The family, including a wife and one child, lost everything. The fire is believed to have started from the stove flue. Neighbors and friends are aiding the farmer, William Epley.
