Mrs J P Urday died Sunday morning west of Lattimore after five weeks with a liver ailment. Lucinda Tessener McCurry, 23 years married, born Tessener, aged a number of years. Surviving: husband, five children Erastus Howard Blanche Mer Lula, two brothers Columbus and Dolphus Tessener, sister Mrs Andy McCurry. Funeral Sunday at Walls Church at 1 pm conducted by Revs Z Harrill I D Harrill and Bert Bridges. Family moved to Cleveland five years ago.

Albert Morehead dies after illness near Oak Springs
Albert Morehead 46, a well known farmer and community figure, died Monday morning at his home near Oak Springs Baptist church after pneumonia following a cold. Funeral was Monday afternoon at Spgs Baptist church with interment in the church cemetery. He leaves a son and several relatives in Union Mills and Rutherfordton, plus a sister and half sister and his father and stepmother. He had long been a member of Camp Creek Baptist church and lived a devoted Christian life.
