Wilson County Farmers Sign Work Sheets Under 1986 Program
Wilson county farmers in the Agricultural Conservation Program signed work sheets late due to government delays. Five consecutive days of rain destroyed much of the onion crop and caused grass growth in cotton and peanuts. Farmers chose to plow under soil-depleting crops to qualify for grants, degrading soil and delaying aid.

Pillars Dedicated To Wilson County Vets
The gateway to Floresville was dedicated Sunday afternoon June 21 to World War Veterans of Wilson County. The ceremony featured honor guards, a plaque reading Dedicated to the World War Veterans of Wilson County by the American Legion Auxiliary 1936, a 30 second moment of silence, a saxophone solo, and remarks by Judge W.
