H W Orts and daughter Annie and Bryan Orts with John Haschke of Gonzales returned home after visiting A L Orts. Aug Stoeltje and Walter Blohm traveled to San Antonio for business. Wm Eckel A L Orts and C H Warnken went to San Antonio on business. Families visited Gonzales, New Braunfels, Yorktown, and Karnes City. Several attended dances and meetings while guests stayed with relatives. A light rainfall reached the area Sunday afternoon, aiding crops a little.

The Griffith Lumber Company is building an extension to their lumber sheds measuring 16 by 40 feet and placing new fencing in the yard. The new shed addresses increased trade from extensive building around Jourdanton, and the whole shed will receive a fresh coat of paint to improve appearance.
Pearsall Texas June 18 Frio County reports the first bale of 1925 cotton was ginned Thursday afternoon near Pearsall. Raised by W A Adams on the Ed Glenn farm it weighed 565 pounds and remains unsold.
