A special steel gang on the El Paso division of Southern Pacific Railroad works with J M Haynes to lay 90 pound rails on all main curves of the 8 P tracks between Ken y and San Antonio. About 25 workers join the local crew to replace the 70 pound rails in service for years.

Entire Tiger Squad Receives Council Awards
The council awarded the entire Tiger squad including 16 gridsters from the high school eleven. A reserve letter was presented to nine additional players.

Floresville High School athletic council awarded the 1933 Tiger squad with letters and footballs for all players. Wilson county holds NRA code meeting for car dealers
Automobile dealers and garage men of Wilson county met at the courthouse to form a county organization under the NRA code. Hon. W. A. Williamson of San Antonio spoke on the new automobile dealers code. Elected officers were R. C. Teas president of Floresville and J. B. Munns secretary, with an executive committee including E. O. Koepp LaVernia A. L. McKean Nixon and A. H. Stavinoha Poth. The group planned another meeting in January inviting county garage men to join.

Mexican Killed At Webbville Dance Last Saturday Night
