Fire sweeps Sedalia brick by burn from livery barn to elevator
A Monday morning blaze in Sedalia destroyed several buildings in the main town. Originating in the O. C. Hendrix livery barn, the fire swept west to Jenkins and Stewart’s elevator, destroying Hendrix’s barn and hardware store, Grubb’s saloon, Chittick’s drug store building, and damaging the elevator. Most stock was saved. Milner’s drug store building, valued at 800 with 500 insured, also burned. Rebuilding planned with new constructions.

Obituary of Benjamin Wood of Carroll County Indiana
Benjamin Wood was born February 15 1860 in Carroll County Indiana and died April 19 1905 in Milford Utah. He joined the religious faith about 1878 and married Emma Noah January 15 1885. she died in 1902. He leaves a father two brothers and one daughter. Funeral at Baptist church conducted by Rev H P Fuller with interment at Sherman Cemetery. The death details describe a railway accident at Milford where he was crushed between cars and died after forty five minutes. Dr A A Metsker has recovered from pneumonia.

County board vacates part of Michigan road to aid interurban plan
