Delphi women injured in buggy upset on Dayton road
Mrs William Schnepp and her daughter Stella living south of Delphi were in a carriage accident near the Dobbins farm when a frightened horse caused the buggy to overturn. Both women were knocked unconscious but no bones were broken. Mrs Schnepp stayed with the Dobbins for several days as Stella recovered fully.

Popular Young Man to Wed Popular Young Lady
Bert Mayhill of Flora Indiana will wed Miss Dora Thomas of Glendora California next Thursday. The couple will visit New Orleans and the St Louis exposition before returning to Flora to set up housekeeping at West Walnut street. Miss Thomas is a half sister to Mrs Ed Cripe of Flora and a social favorite in Glendora. The engagement was announced in Glendora in May and reported with festive details. The Populists held their national convention in Springfield on Tuesday. Thomas K. Watson of Georgia was nominated for President and Thomas H. Tribbles of Nebraska for Vice President, both by unanimous vote. The platform calls for good money and abundance, postal savings banks, labor organizing rights, end to child labor, limit foreign pauper labor, end convict labor, eight-hour day, and public ownership of utilities including railroads and telegraphs.
