A Thursday afternoon wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church united Mixa Clara Lierman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lierman, Sr., to Henry Jasper. Rev. W F Dannenfeldt officiated as the bride wore a Georgette gown with a wreath, bridesmaids in white silk, and a reception followed for about 160 guests. The couple will reside in Clover in a rented bungalow.

Filer Highway District approves ice plant contract at 7650

Proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the Filer Highway District Idaho 1020 describe the session at 1:00 p m with members Weaver Lincoln present. They reviewed previous minutes and approved them then evaluated bids for the ice crushing plant. J W Moore Co submitted a proposal totaling 36590 while Lantry offered a partial equipment plan. Lake City agreed to deliver machinery and lumber at about 13795. A contract with Phelps Construction Co was approved to build the plant and install machinery for 76H with site camp buildings, materials to be supplied by the district. The secretary was instructed to call for bids on lumber and material. The meeting adjourned with signatures.

Filer Highway District Board Discusses Compressors and Tools

The Filer Highway District board met at 2 00 PM with H J Weaver and Ivan G Lincoln present. After reviewing bids from W Moore Co and Richmond Machinery Co for compressors and tools, the panel postponed action and planned to revisit the item in Twin morning aid before ordering equipment. The meeting was led by Secretary Treasurer Arthur K Anderson.
