Highway District to Build Rock Crusher Near Filer
The Filer Highway district, through its board, has closed contracts for a quarry, complete plant, camp, buildings and full equipment to drill and crush rock at the Rev. A. W. Barbesat ranch, one and a half miles south of Filer, at an estimated cost around 22 thousand dollars. Construction has started and will run through winter to supply paved rock for spring highway work, as bids for the plant alone ran high.

Commissioners Laud Highway District Savings And Progress
