Site for New Grade School Purchased by ISD Directors
The Independent School District number four buys six acres at $1,000 per acre from EK8 Martin for a new modern grade school. Architect John Visser draws plans for a four room California style building with later expansion to nine rooms, tile and stucco, to be built on the east side of the site near Twin Falls county fairgrounds. The district plans to sell two or three acres for park use and speed bond sales to have the school ready for fall occupancy, with the site praised for drainage and location near the current school.

Buh! Canning Co. to skip operation for season 1920

Officers report burglaries attempted at three east Main street sites Tuesday night. Sherlock’s lot. windows and safes were pried at Filer Elevator. a window was broken at Farmers Grain. Marshal L. D. Allen and deputies found footprints and fingerprints aiding the investigation.

Fatal Car Crash Kills Plasterer James M. Bower Near Twin Falls
A nighttime highway accident near Twin Falls killed James M. Bower, about 45, a plasterer living on Gem Street. He was riding in a car with three others when the vehicle crashed from a bridge, overturning off the road in an irrigation ditch southeast of Twin Falls. The crash occurred around midnight Saturday.

Fatal Accident Near Gurley Claims Two Women
One woman is dead and another seriously injured after a mid day wreck near Gurley on Sunday. Mrs R O Mulliken aged 50 of Fourth Avenue West and her daughter Mrs Alice Cunningham aged 25 of Twin Peaks died in a collision caused by four unknown men who allegedly caused the crash.

The trial of Frank DeKlote G Hi Peter Erickson and tt Murphy farmers against Twin Pathe Canal company before Judge W A Babcock at Twin Pall continued Monday afternoon.
