Buhl Man Killed on State Highway
A. V. Mounce, pioneer resident of Buhl, died Wednesday evening when the automobile he rode in left the road and plunged into a ditch west of Burley. The body was taken to Burley undertaking parlors. Mounce, about 60 years old, was among the earliest settlers in the western county and is survived by two wives and three children.

Union Pacific to build road south to Wells from Rogers Idaho
Union Pacific vice president general manager H W Platt told Twin Falls leaders that construction will begin soon on a railway line from Rogers Idaho to Wells Nevada to serve southern Idaho.
