Idaho Power new rates set by Idaho Public Utilities Commission
The Idaho Power Company faces an equalized rate schedule after the Idaho State Public Utilities Commission rejected Schedule eight as unjust and set a uniform plan. The order fixes heating, water heating, domestic cooking and lighting rates, with substantial reductions for some customers and adjustments to irrigation pumping and street lighting. About 15,000 of 22,000 residential customers will see lower bills. the commission warned of possible future changes if new terms prove unreasonable.
