County to Seek Four Year Detailed County Audit

Boise governor signs House Bill 94 allowing redemption of delinquent 1920 to 1922 real property before sale. Taxpayers may pay original taxes plus 7 percent interest to avoid penalties, easing burdens on farmers and others facing confiscation levels from three years of back taxes.

Driver Drowns After Auto Wreck Near Twin Falls

Henry Wagner a 36 year old Twin Falls Canal employee drowned when his overturned car toppled into a irrigation ditch four miles east of Twin Falls. Frank Johnson escaped and aided in attempts to free Wagner. Wagner, a Native American who had changed his name, lived in South Park addition and had previously worked on the Clover project with Dan Morris.

Strouds Automobile in Idaho Train Collision

Lealie Stroud, son of Mr and Mrs Charles Stroud, a rural delivery driver from Buhl, was involved in an auto accident Saturday when his light car was struck by the caboose of a switching train in the Huht yards. He escaped injury as he leaped from the vehicle before impact. the car suffered minor damage and was pushed along the tracks several hundred feet before the caboose stopped near a water tank.
