Death comes to Mrs George Patton Filer teacher
Mrs George Patton, a well known Filer grade school instructor, died in Beloit Kansas after a five month illness. Funeral services were held and interment at Greenmound near Hebert. She taught since early in her career and would have reached nearly 27 years of continuous service. Survived by husband two brothers and a cousin, with many fraternal and community affiliations. School flags were at half mast in mourning.
