Levy Vote Not Necessary In District No 4
At a special board meeting Independent School District No 4 decided that a school levy vote is not needed as maximum revenue suffices under the new law. The finance committee report favored this, pleasing taxpayers. Last year’s district levy totaled 14 mills with rural high school adding 6, Twin Falls 22, Kimberly and Buh 23. The ban on attendance from sick homes, mainly measles and mumps, was partially lifted as peak epidemics passed. L. D. Allen, new board member, was sworn in.
