The Idaho Supreme Court approved a 2.7 million bond for the American Falls reservoir project and it will seek a final opinion from Chicago bond attorneys before sale. Directors met Monday and J R Bothwell was chosen to travel to Chicago. the bonds voted in 1923 cover partial dam construction as plans, examined Thursday in Denver, would involve R B E Sheppard of Jerome and engineers for the project.

Dairy Cows Sell At 54 Dollar Average Friday
An average of 54 dollars per head was realized as dairy cows sold at the W. R. Hurst dairy cow gate inside Davis Bros. barn Friday afternoon. Ten cows were offered and all sold. The top price reached 98 dollars for a fine five year old, with other bids of 78 60 and 64 dollars. It was the first farm stock sale here since spring and attracted few buyers due to busy season.

Brother of Local Man Shot During Hold Up
Rex Buck, long associated with Twit Pathe, was shot at close range and robbed of 45 in bills on a road west of Casper Wye. His brother Mo AL Buck and his brothers Ray and Bud were camping nearby. Sudden Death Leads to Twin Falls Funeral for Nella Krohn
Funeral services were held at the Church of the Brethren in Twin Falls for Nella Krohn widow of Charles Krohn who died after surgery at the county hospital. She was born May 21 1878 aged 46 and survived by two grandchildren and many relatives. The Krohn family settled in the area after a ranching career marked by her husband’s death in a previous runaway accident. Burial followed at Twin Falls.

Project Boys Enjoy Annual Junket
William Kerr state supervisor of vocational education and Smith Hughes work visited Filer Rural High School for the annual excursion of the project boys. George N. Tucker instructor supervised the 16 boys as they toured all projects and gave oral reports. Twenty people traveled in six automobiles. Kerr spoke after the meal.
