Twin Falls County Fair offers $8,000 in premiums

The fifth annual Twin Falls county fair to run September 14 to 17 pledges over $8,000 in premiums with $3,625 for horse races and $1,472.60 in cash for horses and mules. Premiums rise across departments, and many special premiums from $100 to $400 are planned.

McCollum Incorporation Granted Near Buhl Controversy

County commissioners approved the incorporation of the town of McCollum south of Buhl amid disputes over amalgamation terms and tax obligations. Teen Dies Not Yet Named After Ranch Horse Kick

Tot Hack, son of Dr and Mrs P Hack, suffered a skull fracture near the Hack ranch by Rogerson. Found by a cowboy, he was rushed to Twin Falls hospital with injuries presumed from a kick by a horse. Dr W W Wilson treated him, noting he is out of danger.

Primary Election Set For Next Tuesday At Grade School

W D Gillie, attorney, arrived in town and opened a law office in the Wood building over Modern Drug Shop. He comes from Gil en Dive Montana, where he practiced with Anderson and Courslie, and earlier served nine years in Seattle. He was admitted to practice last week and plans to move there.
