Three Tragedies In Idaho Take Toll Of 3 Lives

Over the past week three men died in Idaho in separate incidents. John Jurko shot A B Vandenmark in Twin Falls and faced a murder arraignment. William Wessling, 34, drowned at Banbury Natatorium after entering the pool at 9 15 p m and being found at 11 20 p m. Farady Mills of Seattle was shot on the Mountain Home road, robbery suspected. Robhlfing held, claims accidental shooting and seeks counsel.

Assault conviction in Twin Falls farm case

B Lohr of Filer district farm ex conv icted by Justice W Mallory in Twin Falls for assault and battery on former employee Irs Knipe. He was ordered to pay 5 and costs after allegedly attacking with a wrench concealed in his sleeve when Knipe demanded a wage claim of 280 dollars. The assault followed Lohr tendering a 150 dollar check. Knipe was taken for medical care. Lohr was represented by attorney A T Hamilton.

Lawsuit Aims at Lapp by Vic Lapp filed and withdrawn

A suit for newsworthiness over most of their marriages was filed in district court by Charles KE Lapp against Vic Lapp. The papers in the case were withdrawn immediately after filing by Stephan and North, attorneys for Lapp.

The village of Filer bought three hundred feet of fire hose at the July board meeting for immediate delivery.
