The seventh annual premium Wet of the Twin Falls County Pair was off the press and ready for distribution last week. The booklet comprises 40 pages and in the product of the Buh Herald shop. The usual number and variety of premiums and attractions are provided for this year's exposition, there being 14 distinct departments. Mrs. Raymond Carter entertained the Just-a-mere club at her home on North street Thursday evening of last week. The evening was spent in cards, Mrs Seholton winning high score and Miss Gall Munser consolation. Late in the evening a dainty two course luncheon was served to the following guests: Mrs A. O. Madl and E. B. Allen, M. J. Macaw, H. H. Sehndmen, Dr. Mabel Hatn, Arthur Seholton, Werner Kirkpatrick, George Anthony, and the Misses Gall Masser, Helen and Anna Klaas.

Filer Ranchman Edgar L Tyler Dies in Rupert Hotel
Edgar L Tyler manager of Dry Springs fruit farm near Filer died in Rupert lodging house. His body found in bed late Tuesday after five hours. Funeral Friday at L D S Church Twin Falls, burial in Filer Cemetery. Widow Miss Albertina Clark. survived by parents Mr. and Mrs. J A Tyler, five brothers and three sisters. Tyler, 36, was secretary of Twin Falls Horticultural Association and manager of Crystal Springs property. The family moved from Northeastern Idaho about three years ago.

A crowd gathered at the Yakima avenue and Mainstreet bandstand as Ernest Meyer directed Clover band members in a free concert. The 24 piece group thanked Pier and Filer citizens for the warm welcome and announced they cannot play weekly due to other commitments but would visit again.

No change in county primary results after board recheck
The board of county commissioners, after examining returns on Saturday and Monday, upheld the earlier results with J W Taylor winning the one vote lead over A J Myers for county attorney. Guy Le Kinney led the Democratic ticket for county attorney by 16 votes over O W Witham, while Dr P F Dwight’s name, written in by 61 voters, was declared the nominee for coroner.
