The One Hundred Per Cent club of Filer organized at a 110-man meeting held at the Filer Cafe after a banquet. Leonard Wood chairs the permanent group and tasks committees for next month’s banquet while members pledge to back the incoming village administration and pursue public improvements.
Simon E Hang village treasurer publishes the annual financial report covering April 10, 1920 to April 10, 1921. It shows receipts from various sources, total funds on hand 20,911.94, warrants paid 14,779.91, and remaining balance 6,631.43 with overdrawn water and sidewalk funds due to unpaid assessments by property owners. The treasurer urges owners to settle payments with the village clerk promptly.
Digest outlines Senate Hill No 227 requiring licenses for all tobacco sellers in Idaho. Penalties include 100 to 200 fine, up to six months jail, or both for license violations. Licenses expire December 31. fees 50 dollars with 500 dollar bond, transfer possible with new bond. Minors barred from tobacco, penalties include fines up to 100 dollars and jail, license forfeiture for five years. registration closes Saturday night.
Prospects for the county fair next fall look bright with dates set for September 14 to 16. The board approved arrangements, noted improvements, and announced prizes and events including three Duroc Jersey Futurity shows with $600 in premiums, special premiums from Shorthorn breeders and the Horse Association, and a four day engagement with Kelly Comedians. Officers and directors for 1921 were elected: Roy A. Read president, P. C. Meredith and W. Case vice presidents, G. C. Davis treasurer, with directors Riverbend, A. C. McMaster, and K. O. Walter.
Dane Adolph Classen received the contract for grading work on a state highway between Ontario Oregon and Welner Idaho. Five bidders competed and bids were within $1,800 of each other, with Classen's bid only $69 lower than the next closest offer.

Ath Wood of Twin Falls visited the city to discuss with Merely Planters Sugar Co the prospect of building a factory in the county. He said the firm aims to erect a rectory, and will proceed to secure sugar beet acreage by contracting planters. Each signer would receive $100 per acre in a staged payment over five years, tied to beets delivered and the beet sugar content.

Eleven year old Walter Beans, son of Mrs Walter Evans of Twin Falls, was picked up by Twin Falls police Tuesday night and returned to his mother. The boy had left home secretly that morning after reportedly having trouble with his school teacher, and his apprehension grew when probation officer Ault and Probate Judge Duvall appeared in Filer.
