Nominations closed for the April 26 municipal election with two candidate tickets. The Independent Ticket lists A. O. Macland E. S. Lalue Karl Munyon B. W. Boring and L. A. Small. The Electors’ Ticket filed by J. W. Eaton and RH. Goodpasture includes FR. H. Wilson Gay H. Shearer Harry Hammerquist L. M. Smith and B. Wilcox. Ballot form will appear next week and voting occurs Tuesday April 26.

Trask Bros Stage Expands To Boise Route

Trask Brothers operate a larger stage line with 11 large cars and 15 employed, offering Boise southern Idaho trips at railroad fare. A Twin Falls Boise service runs daily in 12 passenger cars, departing Twin Falls at 1:30 and Boise at 1:30, stopping at Filer and Twin Falls, with six hour total travel to Boise city for 9.75. Three New Grade Teachers Appointed in Independent School District Four

At a Monday meeting of the board of directors three new teachers were appointed to the grade school staff, leaving one vacancy. Grace McQuinnis, now at Idaho Falls, was named principal of the new grade school building housing the primary department. New hires include Hazel Gardner of Farnam Nebraska Pearl Carter of Ledgerwood North Dakota and Edith West of Wendell Idaho.

Award Contract For Main Street Block

The contract for the New Munyon block on Male ire was awarded Monday evening to J. L. Edwards and work began Tuesday. The brick block will have two storefronts measuring 25 by 80 feet and be one story tall, built by the Southern Idaho Brick and Tile Company with modern fronts.

Students Donate to Worthy Cause at High School

After Mrs. M. G. Sweeley spoke, Beigh High School pupils and instructors voted to donate 1008 dollars to the scholarship fund of the State Federation of Women's Clubs formed among University of Idaho students. The Rural High School fund, grown from plays and entertainments over three years, had about 190 dollars. the donation was redirected to aid progressed students at the state institution, to be repaid later.

Father and Son Banquet Set for Friday Evening

A Father and Son Banquet will be held Friday at seven o'clock in the Methodist Church. About 100 attendees are expected as advance tickets sell for 75 cents each. The menu includes chicken soup, roast pork with apple sauce, mashed potatoes, corn, pickles, jelly, bread, and batter.
