Nearly 200 Modern Woodmen of America members gathered Monday to form a new Filer camp with 16 chartered members and several Ball candidates. State Deputy J. W. McMillan Named Veterinary Board Member
Dr H E McMillan, a local veterinarian, was appointed to the state Veterinary Medical Examining Board, a three member panel. The notice arrived Saturday from Robert C Jones, commissioner of Law Enforcement. The board will meet in Home on May 9 to conduct examinations for veterinarians. The appointment surprised the doctor and he is receiving congratulations from friends and patrons.
