Official notice in The Record from the village board confirms the election date Tuesday April 24 at village offices on Main Street. Polls open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mountain Time. Five trustees will be chosen and all qualified voters must register. clerk Albin at Filer Elevator, North Yakima Avenue, will register voters. Registration closes the Saturday before election. Nominations may be by convention or petition with rules on certificates and executive committee actions. Three trustees will serve four years and two for two years by lot.

The sophomore class topped the interclass track meet Friday, scoring 46 points to defeat the seniors by 18. Junior totals reached 28 and freshmen scored a partial.
