Numerous Weddings At St Ferdinand Church In Ferdinand

The St. Ferdinand community reports several weddings this week. John Schreiner wed Isabelle Altmeyer with Ed Altmeyer and Ed Wirtzberger as groomsmen and Ida Altmeyer and Millie Wagner as bridesmaids. The couple will live in Ferdinand where Schreiner works for Pitts Lumber Co. Another couple, John Young and Minnette, married in Louisville, honeymooning at St Meinrad then Paul Ringemann’s home. Nick Dilger of Fulda married Ida Klueh at St Ferdinand with Ida Dilger and Anna Klueh as bridesmaids and Peter Klueh and Ed Dilger as groomsmen. They will farm near Fulda. Philip Schilling and Katie Uebelher wed at Siberia. August Collignon and Katie Miler married at Fulda. Paul Fischer and Sophia Persohn married at St Ferdinand church and left for Louisville. they will live on a nearby farm. The NEWS extends best wishes to all couples.

Sister M Anastasia Schutzius Dies at 37
