Mueller Evans Wedding in Indianapolis Church

Miss Emma Marie Mueller and J. D. Evans of Indianapolis were married at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Francis B. Dowd officiating. Attendants included Hazel Mueller and Elisabeth Mater. wedding breakfast at Hotel Severin followed by a wedding tour to Detroit Toronto Thousand Islands Niagara Falls and Chicago. They will reside at 1524 Bellefontaine St after Nov. 16.

Teachers Training School charter approved for Immaculate Conception

The visit by Superintendent Greathouse and state and county education leaders led to a favorable report and a charter issuance for certifying the Academy of the Immaculate Conception as a Teacher's Training School. The State Board of Public Education endorsed the move at its latest meeting.

Mr and Mrs Charles Horny and the editor and family spent a day in St Anthony hosting by Dr and Mrs O A Bigham. They toured John Sternbergs hall St Anthony Flour Mills and a local ball game with Birdseye not attending. The party enjoyed a generous dinner and supper and noted several area businesses including Wibbels Bros. and a locked booze stand at Hubert Sternbergs.

Jasper Ind Oct 8 cases continued in circuit court State v Harrison King assault and battery with intent bond set at 500 with sureties. Several other cases continued on motion or by agreement. Some defendants pleaded guilty and paid fines or released on good behavior. One arson case continued. a few dismissals and new trials granted. Otto Kreuzberger admitted to the bar. Damages sought against Southern Railway and other civil actions continued.

Frank Wagner Dies After Short Illness at Louisville

Frank X. Wagner aged thirty eight died at his Louisville home Sunday afternoon at 1 30 after a brief typhoid fever. He was born in this community and later ran a grocery in Louisville. He is survived by his wife Carolina Snyder, his mother Mrs Paul Wagner, three brothers Benno Nick and Albert Wagner, and three sisters Mrs Peter Klueh Mrs Minnie Merkel and Miss Anna Wagner. Funeral from St Anthony church Louisville Tuesday morning at nine. Interment in St Michael's cemetery. The bereaved have our sympathy.
