John Edele eldest son of Mr and Mrs Mike Edele of St Henry married Miss Mathilda Hassfurther second daughter of Mr and Mrs Math Hassfurther near Ferdinand at St Ferdinand church in the morning. Attendants include Miss Ida Hassfurther and William Schwinghammer with Olivia Edele as maid of honor. An all day celebration followed and a free dance at Fritchs bail. Edwin Schlegel and Evangeline Gugsell wed at St Vincent de Pauls in Louisville in a simple ceremony attended by relatives. The bride wore brown with Ward roses and bavardia corsage. The couple will reside in Louisville.
