Last Week of The Dubois Circuit Court
The Dubois County court held session for three days last week with multiple cases in progress. Records show writs of attachment, venue change affidavits, foreclosure and lien actions, and numerous assigned trials for the next term. Aged Citizen of Jasper Passes Away After Illness
Michael Wagner Sr. died at his Jasper home after a year with tuberculosis at age seventy three years two months. His remains were laid to rest in Ireland cemetery from St. Marys church. He leaves a wife Elizabeth and six children, plus six grandchildren, with many in the area mourning.

Effective today November 2 1917 first class letters and matter pay three cents per ounce or fraction. Drop letters incur two cents per ounce or fraction, with no drop rate for other mail. Postcards and ecards have two cent rates, with print-only messages at one cent. No changes to third class or parcel post rates.

The premises described as a 22 by 24 foot ground floor room in a two story frame building on southeast corner of lot 66 Ohio Street fronts a public street. Restrictions and conditions accompany the license renewal.
