Court proceedings include Anthony Michael appointed to the county Board of Charities for eight years to fill a vacancy. Jury list for cases against Mary E. King et al. includes John Alles and others. Several cases show findings, pleas, and sentences including a Deser­tion case and a railway company suit with a $314.80 judgment at 6 percent interest from July 20, 1910.

Town Visit Notes and Local Household Visits

Paul Ender the shoe maker visited town on business. Mr and Mrs William Marwa of Louisville visited relatives here this week. Mike Uebelher and family spent Sunday at Henry Flecks. Miss Ida Beckmann and Mrs Joel Havlik left for St Louis last Saturday morning. Miss Katherine Renner of Huntington spent a week with her grandmother here. Pitts Lumber Co. Employee Hurt After Fall From Wagon

Victor Grewe, an employee of Pitts Lumber Co., fell from a log wagon Monday afternoon and suffered a severe gash requiring 17 stitches. He is progressing but not yet able to return home.

Found Dead at Home: Mrs. Hohl of Mariah Hill

Mrs. George Hohl, 76, of near Mariah Hill was found dead sitting in a chair Friday morning. The cause of death was heart trouble. She had been feeble for years. Remains laid to rest Sunday morning in Mariah Hill cemetery.

Local residents visit kin and attend gatherings in Lawrenceburg area

Dr Frank Miller and family from Lawrenceburg Ind arrived Wednesday to visit his parents for a few days. Mrs Elizabeth Wagner and daughters Katy and Bertha spent Sunday with Math Morgen at St Henry. Bertha Henrich left for Murphysboro Ala to visit relatives. Ben and Taylor Bufkin of Lamar had repair work done at the foundry. Mrs Fred Michel returned from Louisville after visiting her parents. Mrs Ben J Hirsch left for St Louis after a few days here. Tillie Sondermann returned from Sunman and Cincinnati. Several families attended weddings and funerals in the area including Paul Wagner’s funeral with multiple relatives present. John Kost of St Meinrad ordered posters for a 4th of July picnic in his park inviting all.
